I am done with Boards

I always come to Boards everyday and read the posts and comments cause I am bored and lonely. But recently the people just crossed their lines because of an event?

****Quitting the game because Riot won't let men into an event Saying community is punished bc "men" can't attend an event Angry over some rioters personal tweets and again blaming riot for that ****

League of Legends which is a fantasy not reality game, has always been appealing to "cis gender men" by their "bromance culture" and "sexualized female champs/skins in game" (Ahri Akali Evelynn Elise Camille Caitlyn Cassiopeia Kaisa e.t.c) but apparently that is not enough for them. Men have been a majority in every event of League of Legends. When women and lgbt people are being given an event where they can finally feel like they are "majority and not some minority", people are crying? I am a man myself but I don't have any problems with that. I am still waiting for the patch where Trans, Gay, Lesbian e.t.c champ is released ( and not some stereotypical Media shown "gay"). The sad truth is that most of these "keyboard warriors" might not even go to the event or watch it online. When Riot is being open to women and Lgbt, these people are angry? Grow up, you cry/manbabies, instead of helping women and lgbt community , u r acting like dickheads and fighting for something which has always been yours. I am seriously done with these sensitive people and boards. This is really sad.item 3107

Remember everyone, diversity and equality is pushing down one side to raise up the other.

This isn't what's happening. Men are being excluded, women have never been excluded in any events that Riot has set.

imagine the outrage that would come of it if they were. The fact that men are a higher percentage of League of Legends gameplay, events, and professional play is due to a variety of factors, not due to men (and I say men here as a blanket term when it really shouldn't be) banding together to exclude them.

I wonder, do you also go to the NFL facebook page to tell them you're boycotting the NFL?

The boards have always had rampant misogyny, transphobia, and racism. A few months ago, someone posted about how Brie Larson overreacted when she shamed a TSA agent for making sexual advances toward her. Nearly everyone on the boards supported the TSA agent. When Brie Larson supporters asked how they would feel if a cop were to make sexual advances toward someone after writing them a speeding ticket, most of the community responded by saying that you must take every chance you get and you miss every shot you don't take. This community believes that power doesn't factor into rape and that consent is possible even when coerced. When one moderator tried to defend Larson, the whole community asked for that moderator to be fired.
