Absolutely not. Very little about her "works" well in its current form.
Eve in her present state is in a weird limbo of doing rather weak split damage thats both burst AND sustained, and a shitty ult that hasn't been good since it did %max hp magic damage. I dont understand how you think hitting an enemy with E then mashing Q makes for engaging gameplay. Even as someone who likes Evelynn I get sick of button mashing her Q and really hoping thats going to change and give her more power in other areas. Her E should be kept though.
Back in season 2 when she was primarily built as a straight AP champion, everything worked "well" because she would delete you in two button presses. DFG-Ult- dead. Granted, her ult was stupidly overtuned and DFG made it flat out broken. If you lived though the two button presses, Ravage + lich bane would kill you. This was thankfully remedied, however it completely neutered her ultimate in the process to what we have now. She was kicked again when her E was changed from magic to physical in season 4.
