So I understand Riot decided not to have a snowdown event this year in favor of a Dawnbringer VS Nightbringer Event but I just don't understand why. There has been a snowdown event every year and Its the most enjoyable time to play for me personally. All i want to know is why riot chose another event over the annual holiday one.
Because they can't figure out how to give Yasuo, Lux, Ezreal, Ahri, and KaiSa a snow down skin so no one gets to have fun. Also probably if they tried to snowdown the map FPS would drop even harder and everyone's game would explode before loading.
because the company is greedy asf and don't give 2 shits about the players
they couldnt since they would have to make a snowdown map that can work with all dragon soul alternating stuffs
Because they didn't have time to put out another 5 maps. 4 if they re-use last season's for the base. They literally just ran out of time to work on it after having to design 4 maps.
Because asians dgaf about christmas and they are league's biggest market I guess [sg-soraka]
Probably the same thing that happened to the harrowing. We haven't seen the harrowing in what? 5 or 6 years? because Riot claimed it interfered with worlds. Then they changed the lore to say something about how in the world league takes place in holidays and events don't necessarily happen at the same time of the year they do in the real world, and we STILL never saw it resurface.
it is saddening to see riot not care as much as they used to, i have been playing since end of season four and my husband at basically the beginning of the game, our favorite event is snowdown, but yet it was put to the side because of an event that doesnt seem very well planned out, they could have made room, but in my opinion it feels as if they didn't, and i understand the dragons, and the map, and the skins, but the event is something that the majority of the player base does wait for every year, hopefully maybe we can get some sort of small event with poro king, and not just poro king alone [sg-soraka] i wish we could do a petition to bring it back ;-; but i feel bad because if it is too much work for them then i don't want to bombard them with all of this, and yet i still really want to see the holiday joy in the game as well, who knows, maybe we will get a suprise [sg-ahri-2]
