Well, to be fair: last season Mordekaiser was strong. It's not about his kit, but about the changes that happened this season - new runes, itemization, ADC changes, etc. While other champions who struggled due to changes received some needed buffs, Mordekaiser wasn't touched - and this is the biggest issue with his current state - riot doesn't want to buff him and hides behind the "bad meta" excuse. It's not the meta that made Morde bad, it's the changes that made Morde bad. It's the lack of compensation for him losing most of his tools, that made him bad.
The rework was indeed a failure, but not for making him weaker: the rework failed because it didn't make Mordekaiser less toxic to play against.
The only thing this loser is good for is not being played. For that he gets the academy award. The rework was abysmal and turned him into something he was never meant to be. RE RE WORK WHEN?!
