How Aery Shield works with other Shields?

So if say Lulu has Aery and shields Miss Fortune, how do the shields absorb damage? Does one take damage and then the other one after the first is depleted? Or do both take damage equally, so it's pointless to use Aery with Lulu or other shield supports?

Yeah, I'm pretty certain Aery simply increases the value of the shield. Could test on Morgana since her shield is only valid for Magic Damage.

EDIT: Tested it, Aery increases the value of the shield but "aid" is on the back end. So if you shield someone for 300, Aery boosts to 400, and the shielded ally takes 350, Aery is only credited for 50. Same with the heals.

Either one soaks up the damage first or each soaks 50% of the damage.

Both shields soaking 100% of the damage would be one of the dumbest things ever.

neither, im pretty sure it just adds the the main shield. If lulu shields for 100 and aery shields for 50, then thy get a single shield for 150.

if you want to look at it in a strategic way - max hp + active healing/ hp regen + active shielding. depending on your enemies composition either could be fine. if your team tries to do both healing and shielding they wont have enough mana or damage is the general consensus. aery can make up for that. if you're shielding, but your allies dont have any regen it's sort of wasted. if you're healing, but your allies have only 1200 hp it's also wasted. if you're healing a tank however then the enemies will have to try to target you to stop the heals so long as your tank has enough damage and hp to matter. if you're shielding then your ally needs to have some form of self regen otherwise they're going to die either way because a smart opponent will save their abilities until after the shield has dissipated and is on cooldown since all shields are usually temporary.
