Maining Kindred

Don't. Do not start maining this champion. Listen to another Kindred main. Riot cares so little about Kindred it's laughable. And playing the champion in game is a mess too.

Kindred probably has my favorite art, voiceover, lore, and gameplay in the entirety of League. Now, I don't really pick mains but Kindred is a champion I still play pretty regularly and can literally 1v9 games. If you want to main the champion however, you need to realize that Kindred might possibly be the most feast or famine character in the entire game. The gameplay is super fun and getting ahead and annihilating everyone is extremely fun, but if you fall behind you will likely not begin to recover until like 30 minutes into the game, if at all.

Kindred DOES have some comeback mechanics unlike oldschool ADCs who are just immobile and a bag of walking gold when they are behind. If your team helps you get marks you can come back fast, you can use your E to execute kills, your ult allows you to do big outplays for your team, but you will still be vulnerable to getting clapped. The champion is extremely fun and satisfying, but you have to accept that some games you'll just get completely destroyed.

Dia and above her ult is pretty valuable still i'd assume.

Kindred is extremely feast or famine. She doesn't scale the hardest but she does depend on stacks to an extent. Really depends on the patch whether she's viable to main or not, even on poorer patches though her utility and mobility at least give her a minimum bar of usefulness. There won't ever be a patch where she can't jungle unless Riot guts her thanks to that.

yeah sure you can main them. learn your matchups and you'll do fine. but do expect a number of people in soloq to berate you for picking kindred, your team will expect you to fail.

Just as long you take to account that Kindred is kinda of the Teemo of junglers, scratch that Ivern is the Teemo of junglers, Kindred is more like the Riven/Yasuo of junglers.
