Chinese team IG won the world champion few days ago, i thought LOL would do something for congratulation(champion skin or dynamic screen just like before). at least there should have a web link or video link in the game interface. however there is nothing about IG team even a word. how do you explain that??[zombie-brand-clap] [zombie-brand-clap]
Skins take longer than 2 weeks to make lol
1 - Because this win is not as big as the as the last 3 (SKT setting records, and last year them losing was the big deal) 2 - Because Riot is still working on stuff. i.e. calling the team in, working with them, setting plans for the eventual skins, on top of the daily grind work they do anyway along with getting stuff ready for Pre-Season and next season.
Patience young one. They have pre-season/new champion/end of season rewards/and planning with IG as well.
Rummer suggested they have prepared for RNG but not IG.

I have the same question as well. 
But here is my personal thought:
IG won the championship, the biggest market would be in LPL which mainly run by Tencent, thus LPL has one month "champion celebration" activity but not on here. I think for Riot, if either SAT, FNC, or even RNG win the championship would make a bigger deal cuz those team are more well-known in the world (Areas outside of LPL at least more familiar with those teams). Under such situation, I think Riot won't do much as there are many other things to consider (end-of-season, pre-season, etc). 
Maybe they think IG as S8 champion is less popular, less topic, people might react less. For instance: If SAT won-->wow they won a lot; FNC won-->they come back / the rise of EU; RNG won-->Royal never loss this year / UZI finally achieve his dream In comparison, IG is relatively new to many player outside of LPL.
Then Riot probably would rather put more time in working on other stuff.
