Please, somebody tell me I'm not the only one having a panic attack.... I just got an email saying that my account has been banned for the use of a third party system... But I haven't even been online since Sunday night!!!!!! And I literally, not metaphorically! Just got off suspension that same morning! If anyone else is experiencing this please tell me! Cause I don't know what to do, and I haven't done anything at all!
You are definitely not alone in this. Both me and my Fiance were banned due to malicious 3rd party programs. I've already sent in a ticket but just the sick feeling in my stomach seeing my account after years and years of hard work, dedication, and money poured into my account being taken away from me unfairly is hurting me emotionally. My chest is literally hurting from this scare. The hardest part in all of this is waiting for Riot to say anything back. I've heard of people not getting their accounts back even if they weren't cheating.

I think skin edits and stuff like Overwolf might cause getting detected as 3rd party software which leads to bans.

I've also been wrongly permabanned for 3rd party programs. I submitted a ticket immediately and this is the very bleak reply: "I can't really get into the specifics of what program exactly caused the suspension, but our system detected the use of unauthorized programs within your games, meaning that regardless of what happened the account will not be able to be recovered."
I know that I'm innocent, and knowing they can screw up once, inclines me to believe they probably screwed up with more than just me. Unlesss MSI Afterburner for a Fan Curve, a G-Sync Monitor, or corsair/razor keyboard/mouse are 3rd party programs that give me an advantage.. I'm completely clueless.
