So who's staying after they change runes, and the mastery trees?

I ask this question because I know many people enjoy doing all kinds of builds, and trying new things. Plus the changes they are doing I can see through. They can word it differently all they want, but what they have shown does not look great really. I know many people will miss so many old things the game use to have. Poppy's old ult, teemo's old shrooms, Fiddles long fear, kass Silence, Tower lasers, and toughness, Soraka's old heal/mana, and star fall. Lol. All those old old times. I still watch so many of those old videos on you tube. Warwicks point and click ult. Lol. So many memory's of so many good times.

I'm probably staying.

I'm of the "fuck it" mentality. I don't take the game seriously enough to really go off-base on changes like these.

Oh I'm staying absolutely, these changes have me really excited. It's going to be a glorious shit show for months, and I can't wait.

At this point, I'm too invested in the game as a whole to NOT stick it out.

That does not mean, however, I should feel grateful for the fact that I'm getting anything back via rune refund while Jimmy Newbie is getting a full refund. Even if I started in Season 5, I would feel like this is a terrible deal.

This isn't Riot treating everyone fairly and they should know that. Corporate is openly going "we're fucking you over and we're hoping you quiet down enough for us to just do it anyway".

TBH we're kinda just chilling to see if people on the boards calm down. When you look at all the changes coming out as a whole, everybody is getting lots of good stuff. I think some people will stay mad, but it'll be hard to feel tilted when you're getting a fat pile of rewards, a cool new leveling system, new free runes that you can edit in champ select, and a crazy special BE store in preseason.

I'm sorry, but if you don't want us to be bitter at all, start by treating everyone fairly.

this is so lane EVERY person will be cookie cutter no customization no other variant for a wild card no other reason to use them then we must even if we all do pro builds the option to be unique was there and now we all get 5! "talents" and thats it looks flashy but 5 talents thats it I feel like i wasted money on skins because i dont want to play anymore its so boring

I'll miss things that the new runes couldn't give, for example having 15% cdr on gangplank at start of game, and movement speed quints on Twisted Fate and certain junglers.

I'll stay. I won't miss the runes nor the masteries. If anything it'll open up experimentation for a few months. Some of the new runes we got previewed need serious balancing though ^^"

having to play for hours upon hours to unlock full customization is pretty annoying

Depending on how they do it, this could be a good change. I'm not overly optimistic about it, though. Adding more power to keystones could easily just emphasize the issues that came from them to begin with.
