Would you pay a $15 monthly subscription fee for Riot to set your favorite rotate mode permanent?
My idea is, all the rotation game modes that are available, if enough players are willing to pay for it, Riot games can give players the option to do so and they will make that mode available. Basically, the smaller the player pool, the higher the subscription fee can be. So it's either:
- Get as much player as possible to like the mode and you'll have lower subscription fee or potentially free if popular enough.
- Doesn't matter if Riot is hosting and maintaining an entire game mode just for a small player base, if the players are willing to pay for it.
If not enough player pays for it, then the mode will simply be unavailable, but as soon as enough players are willing to pay for it up to the minimum amount Riot feel worth it, then, they can re-open the mode again.
Of course, if the mode is subscription based, the mode will be open to the public maybe 1 - 2 days per week, but open to subscribers 24/7.
What is your opinion on the option of paid mode?
