Pulsefire Shen splash art not the same as in-game?

Hello, I've recently started playing Shen and quite enjoy him. I've also bought the pulsefire skin and just realized that on his right arm his shoulder pad on the splash art has 3 plates and in-game he only has two. Is that supposed to be like that or not really?

I think that in game he doesn't have the armor on his right arm because it would look bad considering his main pose.

But I agree that if that's the case he shouldn't have it on the splash art.

Unfortunately this is a pretty consistent problem with Riot's art. The more detailed a splash art, the more details get lost in the actual skin/champion. Just look at Kindred...
