Anybody experience connection issues with the new loading screen?

My game worked just fine with the old loading screen, now it takes 5 minutes or more to connect and sometimes I can't even connect :(

Yeah, I had a friend who needed to restart lol because we were all stuck at 83%. #bringbackpersonalloadingbar

I am having all sorts of connection issues. I cannot load into games at all. I've received so many bugsplats; the screen says I'm in game, but I can't connect at all; just doesn't want to work. Now it tells me that as the patch finishes, "the patch fails, needs to restart the client," even if I'm in the CLIENT.... RIOT BRING THE OLD LAUNCHER BACK!!!!
