Xayah and Rakan - They don't always have to have the same skins.

Rakan and Xayah are pretty great as champions, and I feel like this trend of ALWAYS giving them couples skins will get pretty stale, and limit their accessibility to skin lines as individual champions. For the future, can you guys explore them as individuals? After all, individuals make up a couple, and I just don't want these two to always be bogged down in the trap of limiting their skin inclusions because the other one might not fit the line as well.

I like the idea of them sharing a theme, but what i want is contrasting/enemy skin combos. Give me Star Guardian Xayah with Dark Star Rakan or Battlecast with Resistance.

Well, they were created together and released simultaneously and their lore depicts them as a couple. So I doubt they’ll ever receive individual skins, especially when couple skins like theirs actually sell.

Considering they share a special recall animation, I assume they'll want to make use of that for their skins.

I can see them having contrasting yet corresponding yin/yang kinds of skins at some point (dusk/dawn still looks pretty uniform).

Being real they're going to receive the same skins most of the time, its part of their design.

That said, I think it'd be cool and do something where they're rivals instead though to push the uniqueness. Like a random example out of my hat, what if they had battlecast skins where one is the robot and the other is the rebel? They have different lines based on whether they're allies or enemies. There's ways you can push different themes while releasing them together.
