i sometimes have "microsecond" moments.. that make it look like i glitch out the game.
i did it all the time in HoN with just auto-attacks. like it looked like the game was glitching on my screen lmao.
idk if it has to do with my ping or what.. but sometimes it does happen. it's hard to say why or if it's me that is causing it at all. I mean i'm not like.. Daigo vs Justin Wong type of player, but I am a gamer. I'm not a total scrub and I can play at a relatively high skill level when I want to.
The only similarity i see with what happened HoN so far is microsecond saves with raka.. It's one thing to save someone with raka ult during darius ult animation...which is nothing really. but sometimes I heal through attack animations and don't see the hp move at all.. which is really cool. like they'll be at a sliver or no visible hp on the bar so like 10 hp and "take damage" but not die...hp didn't move. actually just looked back at a replay, and i can distinguish all the attacks on screen, but no numbers come up. not for the attack, nor for the heal(which is normally shown by a green number). that would be the "glitch". no damage, no heal...even though the animations definitely succeeded and went on downtime.
It was different in HoN though.. Tort's AA was really fckin weird.. had a pretty damned slow missile, probably actually around the same as rakas...
Canceling AAs is a little different in HoN.. it's real similar to LoLs "attack move", but it's a lot more important. There's no turn speed and you can cancel the downtime animation... In League it takes longer for them to finish the attack..like as soon as you click, it goes off immediately, but then you have to wait for your attack speed before you can move or attack again. In HoN your attack speed really only matters for consecutive hits...you can "orb walk" for days meaning if you have a little room on someone.. you can hit them like 5-10 times running away with equivalent movement speed.
For some reason sometimes when my missile would finish or hit the game would actually skip frames. I recall seeing it happen repeatedly plain as day at least once...but I also remember it was a somewhat common occurrence.. It was weird enough for me to remember it was a big deal, but not so much that it's unique to me or a single match. i was really fucking good at AAs for a hero with such a slow ass missile. it was pretty funny. no one expects the banana i guess.
