Lost a game, got an S- and got demoted

You know what feels great? Getting an S rank. Everyone can see in that little, post-game chat box that you did really well this game, even to the frankly outrageously broken Permance Rank bot, and that this game was a good game for you. Hurray.

You know what doesn't feel good. Getting demoted from losing your first game at 0 LP when you went 7/0 in lane and you performed really well but your mid laner had more downs than an elevator and your bot lane lacked an arm each, at the very least.

What doesn't feel good is that no matter how hard I grind and how well I perform, performance is not rewarded. "Oh, you just stomped some kid because you're clearly at a lower rank that you should be, but you got unlucky with your team? I'm sure that has something to do with your division being too high, better demote FROM FIRST GAME AT 0 LP!"
