Aatrox is getting a gameplay update, but will it be as important as a full VGU?

By this I mean - currently our champion releases look like Month 1 - New release, Month 2, Rework, Month 3, new champion, so on and so forth, with December and January not getting anything.

Going by this, We got a Rework in February, Swain, A new champion in March, Kai'Sa, then it should be Irelia in April, a new champion in May, and then comes Aatrox.

But unless I'm not recalling correctly, we haven't had a just GU in a while. Will Aatrox's update be considered the release of June, or could we possibly see something else that month?

If Aatrox is all we get, that means Akali would come out in August, and another new champion in July. But, if we do get something else in June, Akali could release in July.

All I know based on the champion update schedule is that Aatrox is coming after Irelia and before Akali.

They said it will be the biggest gameplay update they've done yet. They're rebuilding his kit from the ground up.

Aatrox's update will probably have a bunch of visual work too to accommodate for whatever new abilities he gets, making it basically a VGU sans the voice work.
