How Will League Do with All the New MOBAs?

There are four MOBAs coming out late this year or next year. They are: -Paragon 2 (this has a massive, MASSIVE fan base behind it already.) -Project Phoenix Uprising (this also has a massive fan base) -Ethereal (which is super different and has hype) -Ascendant One (this is launching late 2018 for Korea and is expected to come to NA soon after. It is like Smite, but better graphics and looks better)

I am curious how League will do against these. League does not bring in new players because of how awful it is to new players. These are all 3rd person, high graphic mobas coming out. I am just curious how league can hold up from these.

EDIT: I AM NOT SAYING THAT LEAGUE WILL DIE OR BASHING LEAGUE! I AM JUST ASKING!

league has been growing since 2011ish in the MOBA front i doubt they will have an issue with a few more games getting added to it

Haven't heard of any of them.

Probably the exact same as when all the other 'new' mobas came out like HotS or Smite or Dawngate or such.

By outright ignoring them since the burden is on those mobas to try and take players from League, not the other way around.

Once people get the idea of League being a massive and constantly growing game out of their heads I think League will do just fine. Every game hits it's peak eventually, and to League's credit it took a while to do that.

Nothing is going to kill League because it already has it's roots down. A small game needs a successful launch to get people interested and to make it seem viable, but a large game that has been around for years can take hits from other games being popular and still do just fine in the long run. The number one thing that kills games like League is the developers, and if Riot is actually killing League they have a funny way of going about doing it.

League will do well because battle royales are hot now. A dev would hav to make a hyper casual moba to steal from the BR crowd but hav the game be fun enough to take enough of leagues fan base that it can flourish. That's a tough nut to crack for any developer and while I do hope their games do well, LoL has the pedigree saying it has been on top for years. Even if a dev "dethrones" League their game will be known as the League Killer, meaning that it is forever tied to League.

The actual question you should be asking is how will those mobas compete against league not how league will compete against them. The intense amount of time players have to invest in learning a moba makes them very stubborn about switching to a different one, which is why there's so few popular mobas on the market. The ones that do manage to work are things like Smite and Hots where they find a completely different flavor of the genre so they can grab people who aren't already playing league or dota.
