[Part IV] Elder Prophecy

With the Aetherial Crown securely in it's rightful place, I've been sent to a place called Red Water den to fill the bloodstone chalice. Unsurprisingly, mortals were using it as a source to make a special type of skooma. They are all dead. As I reach the bloodwell two lackeys of Harkon's council want to steal the glory for their master's so I had to eliminate them as well.

Upon returning the Chalice, Harkon explained to me a prophecy that would free Vampires from the Tyranny of the Sun. As he gathered us all, he instructed us to find and capture a moth priest that was baited into Skyrim. A simple task. I made him my thrall and returned him to the court and he read the Elder Scroll that had been sealed away with Harkon's daughter Serana.
The prophecy indicated that there was a bow named Auriel's Bow that had the power to blind the eye of the dragon - presumably Auriel. It stated that there was more to the full prophecy in 2 other scrolls. I was drawn to an outpost as if by urge to meet seemingly unstable man named Septimus that instructed me to search deep into dwemer ruins to find it within the Tower of Mzark.

Hermaeus Mora approached me and promised me great power if I could solve the lockbox. After prejudicially slaying each of the elven races and giving it to Septimus he found a way to mimic Dwemer blood and open it. After which he was disintigrated by Hermaeus Mora. The Dwemer Lockbox contained the Oghma Infinium, a book of knowledge and secrets as revelead to Xarxes by Hermaeus Mora. As I read the book I felt an uneasy power. This Armor and This Book must be related.

With Two Scrolls now and a new powerful daedric artifact in tow, the location of the final scroll should be with Serana's mother, Valerica. Serana posited that she may be hidden within Castle Volkihar and after searching the courtyard and finding a secret entrance into one of the rundown towers we stumbled upon a great portal. Valerica's Journal indicated that it was a portal to the Soul Cairn.

After a brief ritual involving Serana's blood and some pure ingredients the portal activated and we stepped through it into the soul Cairn.

We found Valerica at a large colloseum shaped structure with a barrier surrounding it. After brief discussion regarding the Elder Scroll and the Prophecy she decided that she would give it to us but we need to remove the barrier that is guarded by three keepers at nearby spires.

Having defeated them and returned to the Colloseum, Valerica guided us to the Elder Scroll only for the Gatekeeper of the Soul Cairn, the Dragon Durnehviir, to fly in and investigate the recently dropped barrier. With my army of Flame Atronachs the dragon was felled in short work and the Elder Scroll is now mine.

All that remains is to decipher the full prophecy, a task for a moth priest.
