long story short, i have a lot of league accounts, and they're divided by the password for it; not until the one before this account did i start using a new password for all my future accounts. bad news is, while i remember this password, ive forgotten the other one. effectively half of my accounts are now inaccessible until i miraculously remember what the password is (none of the accounts are tied to a real email address since this is my main account now) anyone know of any way to remember passwords?

I use it at work, I use it at home and it means I only need to have a limited number of passwords memorized

What works for me is if I have a lot of Emails, accounts I need to keep track of, I write the password in a book/Journal without the username or a "fake username" that hints at the real username. This way I have to physically write it and from there it is sort of ingrained into memory after typing it a few times. My current Password for this account is rather long. It took me a while to memorize. But if you have a lot (more then 5 I would say) writing it down on something not electronic is probably your best option.

Write them down then lock them away somewhere safe

Make your password "incorrect" so every time you fail to enter the right password the site would be so kind as to remind you what your password is "Your password is incorrect"

The easiest to remember and best passwords are a string of actual words that in combination mean something to you but wouldn't make sense to others. You'll memorize it almost instantly because it has meaning for you. By doing this you'll also have a longer password which takes expotentially longer to brute-force.

I like to use model and serial numbers of things I like in combination with one another. A really easy example is to take half of the model number for a particular gundam, and combine it with half of the model number off one of my amiibos.

So in this case let's use the Astray Red Frame which would be MBF-P02, and the number from my Alm amiibo 017000AQAAG1, and we'll turn it into MBF017000A. Nobody is going to guess that shit off hand, it's got both letters and numbers, and you can choose to only capitalize one or two letters for that extra layer of password strength. It's not a complicated password, so I just practice the keystrokes a few times and I'm good to go.

When I'm dealing with a large number of unique passwords that I can't remember, I turn to my notepad with my logins for every service. I keep that locked away inside what would appear to be a simple wooden carving that's got a storage mechanism, one of many decorations in my room.

use Incorrect.

That way, if you can't remember it exactly, it'll tell you your password.

If its just for a bunch of rando league accounts with no ties to your personal information, just use a text doc. No need to make it any more complex than that.

press the windows button type "cmd" in the box then press enter (no quotes) type "cd Desktop" then press enter (no quotes) type "mkdir password" then press enter (no quotes) type "cd password" then press enter (no quotes) type "echo League of legends > password.txt" then press enter (no quotes) type "echo Username: PUT YOUR USER NAME HERE >> password.txt" then press enter (no quotes)
type "echo Password: PUT YOUR PASSWORD HERE >> password.txt" then press enter (no quotes)

replace PUT YOUR USER NAME HERE with your username replace PUT YOUR PASSWORD HERE with your password

go to your desktop, you should have a folder called password, inside it there's a file called password.txt. Your login info should be there
