And everyone else who plays anyone who is not shaco sighs about another cancer returning to the rift.
Soraka still poop and will never return to her former awesomeness. Sona still poop and will never return to her former awesomeness.
Turns out repeated complaining and bitching is the way to get Riot to do anything lol
lucky...

Still looks like a clunky mess
You really shouldn't be thanking them if you like Shaco. This just means they're going to nerf him a month from now because that's what happens every time he ends up on the spotlight for any reason, without fail. There's also significantly less difference between a skilled shaco player and an unskilled one with these changes, which isn't a good thing.
REV UP YOUR HYDRA'S AND STATIK SHIVS
CUZ I'M READY TO KICK DUSKBLADE TO THE FUCKIN CURB
congratulations! hopefully at year 15 I can get either taric or galio back [galio-happy]
Just seeing his Q going back to 2.5 seconds rank 1 makes me nostalgic of old season 3 shaco. Ahhh, good times.
I'm not one to get jelous quick.. but dang i wish i could say the same
Still hate proplay for basicly turning him into a support.
He used to be my go to jungle pick a LONG time ago
They're giving shaco a mini rework?
This looks kinda fun, definitely gonna have some good time fucking people up as a clown again
if they actually ship it..
This does put a smile on my face. :)
i don't know why but i thought this was going to be a post about gangplank going back to the jolly pirate he once was FUCK
Overall these changes look great. Initial thoughts:
It says normal backstab damage will have a chance to crit, while Deceive hits will automatically crit for 130%. Will the current functionality between IE crits and Deceive crits remain the same? (wherein it chooses the strongest crit multiplier to apply, rather than Deceive overriding the stronger IE crit)
If boxes attack everything in the AOE for reduced damage, won't that be a huge nerf to top lane AP Shaco, who often fights within minion waves? Does this AOE attack only apply to monsters? Or will AP Shaco players have to be more careful about where they put their boxes? Tbh I could see this being somewhat broken as a waveclear tool if maxed first, as AP Shaco usually does.
I'd just like to point out that, even with these changes, Deceive will still have a lower stealth duration than what it used to be pre-assassin rework (3.5 at all ranks). What Shaco players have often done to combat this is put 3 points in Q to bring the duration up to 3 seconds, the closest available analogue to the old value, then maxed E. These changes won't affect this decision much (though with the E buffs, it MIGHT give more incentive to sacrifice some stealth power for more damage..........a case could be made for either).
E changes look..........potentially good? I'm glad the base damage isn't less than an autoattack anymore, but the loss of so much bAD scaling is concerning. Since their goal is to amp up Shaco's early game again I don't have too much room to complain, as these changes will obviously do just that. Not to mention this is a huge buff to AP Shaco, especially with the E going back to magic damage. I suppose being able to line up backstab Es to make up for the loss of scaling will, to use a cliche phrase, separate the good Shacos from the bad Shacos.
No mention of fixing the buggy af clone AI. Sad times. I was never a fan of the illuminati boxes they added to clone death. It didn't seem right for a single-target assassin to have AOE hard cc at the cost of burst damage, and with that facet being amplified here, I feel like Shaco will be the target of many nerf calls in the future. People generally don't appreciate hard cc on assassins. Of course they had to cut the clone's explosion damage to compensate, which will be a nerf to AD Shaco, not to mention the reduced AP ratio. I highly doubt the more reliable boxes will make up for that, since they share all damage taken and have so little HP. Overall I'd say these clone changes are a nerf.
As an aside, while I appreciate the work that went into this, and while I'm happy Riot is finally acknowledging Shaco's existence, these changes are probably indicative of Riot not intending to fully rework Shaco for some time. Even with these greatly improved changes, the nature of Shaco's current kit still necessitates a full rework to make him healthy to play against. Not to mention the fact that his visuals and VO are terribly antiquated, and there's no mention of updating these in the notes. I'm cautiously optimistic about Shaco's immediate future, assuming these changes go through, but I don't feel like they're what's best for Shaco in the long run.
This looks like a straight buff in everything earlygame, especially Q lvl1. I just hope he won't turn into something like old jungle Camille where you had to abuse your broken earlygame or you lost
I just want my boy back.
