Lessons learned are weapons wasted
I use to get reported (and punished) for less than what people are getting reported for now. The difference? They aren't getting punished unless I submit a ticket. Kind of whack, huh? Well, you would think. Apparently, they got rid of instant feedback. At least, that seems to be the case; they keep telling me that they can't confirm or deny whether the person has been punished. Well... If I submit a report through the client, won't it tell me whether they were reported? Kind of funny how I provide the resources to confirm they've said things against the rules... but I don't get any in-game notification about someone I've reported being punished.
Anyway, that's not the point of this forum; I'm not here to try and bash on the report system. Instead, I want to voice my opinion about how being a positive, generous player doesn't seem to have any benefit. At least... not in regards to anything other than a capsule you get every few checkpoints. I mean, I've been a 'reformed' player since I missed out on Clash. Yes, I've been reported from time and time again, but who hasn't? Most of my reports are for inting, when (in reality) I was just doing really bad. Obviously, since I'm not restricted, those reports were illegitimate.

Do you understand the idiom? If you become reformed, you lose the ability to attack those who attack you. Caring about honor has done nothing but make this game less enjoyable to me. Why? 'Cause I can have a bad game, especially in being a new player of almost two years, and be viciously flamed. Now, I'm well aware that I'll probably never see those people again; I could care less if someone called me bad. They can say I suck, or that I should uninstall. That's fine. Nothing they said was beyond 'harassment'. Apparently, harassment alone isn't enough to get someone punished; I'm fine with that.
However... when they start throwing out racial slurs, pointing out how Riot won't care because I'm trash and that they've gotten away with this behavior all week... I start to think about how I use to get reported. So far, I've dealt with two restrictions and one of my friends has gone through two suspensions. I've submitted a ticket for my two, and he has submitted a ticket for his two. We've willingly shown the logs to those who ask, and there isn't anything ridiculously toxic in our conversations. I mean, I got reported for calling someone a 'fuck', saying they were 'trash', and calling them a 'crybaby'.
Now, I've got people saying "It's not harassment if it's true." after throwing out racial slurs, derogatory phrases, and disrespectful comments.
If they can get away with it, even after I report and submit a ticket with screenshots, I should be able to as well.

I've thrown away my toxicity, and attempted to 'reform' from the 'lessons' my restrictions have taught me... and now I'm just being walked over.
Does anyone feel the same? This isn't a bashing discussion. If you feel like I'm only considering myself, that's fine; you're free to think so. However, I merely just want to hear people's experience with the League Community. Have any of you gone out of your way to be nice, get viciously harassed, and the individuals go unpunished?
