Recent, unwarranted ban

This is a support ticket I recently submitted to riot.

Hello, I really enjoy league of legends, and i'd consider my frequency of play off and on. I play for a month or two, and then lose interest for a period of time, however I usually come back to the game. today I attempted to come back to league of legends, however I was stopped by a message stating that i have been permanently banned for the use of third party programs. The issue is that throughout my entire league career I have never once downloaded a third party application. I have never attempted to cheat or gain an unfair advantage in anyway. Aswell, a couple months ago when I was still playing the game i played completely fairly. The closest third party application I can think of Is an app that I used to have on my phone tracking my stats and offering guides on how to become a better player, however, this app never impacted my or anyone else's gameplay. I understand riot's policy on giving seconds chances, however I don't believe that I deserved the ban simply because I have done nothing wrong. Also I play on MacOS.

just curious to hear about my odds of getting my acc back...

Just found out my acc got hacked, It was actually banned in October. Is there anything I , Or riot can do for me?

Probably not this is usually too conveinent of an exscuse for people to use.

The "oh woe is me; alas, I was hacked and the people on the account were using third party software but it totally wasnt me and im not just acting like I was hacked" is a very old exscuse hackers have used to try avoid the consequences.

Either way the idea is that YOU are responsible for keeping your account secure

If the account has been caught using third party software that could be considered detrimental to the game they have to ban that account. You being hacked is not a reason for them to unban the account.

In this case they never unban the account, so, you can start over and pick a better password.
