How do you earn Blue Essence after the new update?

I know you used to get IP every game. I now noticed that I am not earning blue essence at the end of my games. So I am wondering how you earn blue essence now. I can't seem to make any progress here. I'm level 27 and have played 22 matches recently. I didn't get anything from them.

You get Champion Shards from the capsules you get from leveling up. If you’ve played 22 games, you should have a few of them already.

As far as I’m aware, the main ways you get blue essence is from your First Win of the Day and from disenchanting Champion Shards (which are acquired through Hextech chests).

Maybe there are other ways, too. I’m not a big fan of the change tbh.
