Due to the dangers the game provides, the NFL is considering cutting down on football. This will protect players from injury and discourage kids from participating in a dangerous activity, preventing injury. What do you think?

I do think they should emphasize chess more. It's a win/win. They get smarter players and they'll have applicable stats to track CTE as player skill depreciates.

If anyone takes this seriously, I'd laugh

You know it's not really football itself that's the problem, it's the players tackling and ramming each other with their heads. If the NFL switched to 2 hand touch instead of tackle it wouldn't be nearly as dangerous.

yes. the amount of head injuries that occur from it are already extremely dangerous and can shorten peoples' life spans by decades.

I love football, but it's not the healthiest career choice
