AFK in ranked needs to be addressed
First of all. yes. this is a post made because of a recent game. But the afk in ranked needs to be held accountable. I also think that the system should be able to figure out exactly when somebody goes afk because there are so many instances where a player would go afk AFTER loading into the game, thus preventing the team from being able to remake. I understand the fear that people will abuse the system, but even that argument does not provide a reasonable axplanation to refuse to hold the afks accountable. Make the afk lose much more LP. problem solved. nobody will afk because they were pressured to quit from the 2 man premade. Even if this were the case, this would be far less prevelant than the current situation where someone loads into the game, then disconnects because of technical issues. Now I understand that people fail to connect sometimes. I also think that the longer the game goes on without a disconnect, rage happens to be a bigger cause of a disconnect than technical difficulties. I think that if we wanted to solve this issue, make any type of dc within the first 3 minutes an automatic remake. have the afk lose a little LP (more LP longer than game goes on) and have the teammates of the afk loss less or no lp. This system, like all other systems will be abused. Loopholes will be discovered. But this should not mean that teams in winnable games should not be compensated when a teammate rages or dcs late in the game.
