#FreeMeta
I'm all for changing the meta.
Personally, League has become a pretty dull place. My duo and I climbed from Iron to Gold by playing Pyke/Zyra botlane with a nearly 90% win rate and it was more fun than any meta comp I have ever tried. More recently, my friends and I took a trio botlane (no jglr-- we played Swain, Zyra, Lux) and that was insanely fun as well.
We've been threatened with reports and bans; we've been told that we're trolling; we've been told we're holding teammates captive, (despite our win rates never being below 50%), but ultimately, none of us have really faced any consequences for having fun.

I think the real questions that need to be answered here are,
What defines trolling? Where is the line between breaking the meta and breaking the rules? Does intent come down to what is said by the player or what is said by their team?
In my experience (hundreds of games) of breaking metas and pissing off my teammates by going 3 bot, 2 jglrs, roaming support, 2 supports botlane... I have never been banned. So what was different with Nubrac and NB3? Is it the fact it was in a ranked game? Is it that he was playing with randoms instead of a premade? Maybe because NB3 told him not to do it? Or was it just because it WAS NB3 and not any other player, without connections in Riot?
