If i am the only person who honors someone in my team do i get bigger progression to honor level

I was arguing with my friend a bit and he said this statement, after checking Honor FAQ and seeing no mention of it there i have come here, so the question is:

If i am the only person who honors someone else in my team do i get bigger progression to honor level then when no one honors each other?

The only bonus to honor comes when all 5 players honor someone..

If you do not get someone honoring you.. you get no honor

In the long run, technically yes, since somoene who never honors will never be on a team where everyone honors. I doubt it will be a noticeable difference but idk tbh.
