Playing Dark Souls 3 again after a super long break.

Finally beat the Dragonslayer Armor, which I was stuck on. Got my Zweihander to +10 for most combat. Flamberge at +9 for some fights. Stuck on the duo princes right now and boy are they aggravating. Apparently Soul Level 92 isn't enough.

Probably gonna put some levels into Health or vitality, so I can take more of the hits. I'm already doing enough damage for the most part.

Upper Lothric can be done at level 80. Twin Prince fight is frustrating because Lorian has a random ass teleport. Easiest thing I can tell you is that they are weak to frost bite/bleed and vow of silence. Vow practically shuts down that little cripple.

Remember you can infinitely respec at Rosaria by shutting down the game after changing your stats.

Once you get the fight with Lorian down without taking too many hits the second phase isn't that hard. Do you have your 15 Estus Flasks +10? You could save your ember for the second phase which gives you an extra heal.

I beat the game with an SL 60 char a week ago, including Midir, Gael and Friede. The only one I thought was bullshit on that SL was Friede. She is a major pain in the ass.

Speaking of Dark Souls 3.... does anyone know a fun challenge? I thought about doing an SL1 run but I'd like another challenge on top of that.

There are soft caps for health at 25 and a bigger one at about 40ish IIRC.

If all else fails you can always default to the easy win of switching to a straight sword. :3

You just have to get used to Lothric bros movesets and not get hit as much as possible, and be careful panic rolling. Doesnt matter how much hp you have

I remember having trouble with the twin princes, and every once in a while I still do for reasons I cannot explain. But nothing will aggravate me more than these two

(Ringed city DLC if you are wondering)

Not particularly advice for the twin princes (I have more trouble with them than ANY other boss in the game) but if you like the zweihander I'd recommend the Profaned Greatsword and Dragonslayer Greataxe, both fun weapons. If you're committed to your weapon that's fine but as somebody who used only the zweihander on my first DS1 run I love those two weapons.

Just keep at it, be patient, and remember, if you summon for a boss it doesn't count as a win.

The Princes are insane. Sans Dancer and SoC, their movelist is longer than any 3 bosses in the game, and I'm pretty sure they have like a triple damage type split. The RNG in that fight feels absolutely unfair. Zwei is a good choice though-- it can hit both princes in the last phase. I used the Greatsword the first time.

Armor is another matter-- I've dumpstered him first try in three playthroughs. Dancer just fucking tilts me, because the timing is wrong. I have trouble with Dancer, Princes, and Nameless-- who I'm stuck on with a fat-rolling STR character. He feels very Ornstein-ish, I just can't keep my stamina up enough to finish him. I expect my Quality will be the first to beat every boss, move into DLC, and NG+. That was what I did with DS1 and DS2: Scholar: Company of Champions. Great balance between DPS and DAM, great weapon movesets. It's really the way to go-- though there are excellent weapon enchant builds favoring the margins.
