Man, BE feels REALLY bad for players as a reward.

50 some odd games played in 3 days and I went from having 1100 BE to 2871. I gained 6 levels. I got 4 champs that aren't worth making permanent or worth disenchanting.

I can't buy a single 6300 champ even if I disenchant them all.

I cant buy a single 6300 champ if I try to make one of these ones I rolled permanent.

I just played 50 some odd games and can't even acquire a single champion.

That just feels terrible.

The new system may be faster to acquire ALL champs, but I don't WANT ALL champs. I just want the ones I like but I can't buy any of them and even after 50 more games I still wouldn't be able to buy any of them. I guess I have to gain 100 levels to acquire a single champ I would like.

remember that new players get way more/better drops from level 1-30 unless they only want to buy 6300 champs I think they're supposed to end up with more champions that a level 30 in the old system would have

I just used up about 80% of my BE leaving me with 7800 or so(I honestly forgot) and Im dreading a new champ right now because I know Ill be left with absolutely nothing and will have to play for a good 3 months non stop just to get back to 7000

The problem is to actually make the shards useful you need to actually have the shard for the champion you want if you had the shard for the 6300 champion you want they'd only cost you the shard and 3790 blue essence which is a big difference but without the shard it honestly feels barely worth it even buying the champions that cost alot.

with so many champions though and shards seem to be weighted towards cheaper champions though goodluck getting who you want.

You're whining and yet you're not even comparing to the old system?

50 games at an average of 80 IP per game in the old system is about 4000 IP. With 3 first wins, that's 4450 IP.

Instead you got 1771, plus allegedly gained 6 levels. You should have gotten 150 BE from first win bonuses, then the 6 levels are a guaranteed minimum 6 x 900 = 5400 BE for a total 5550.

That means you're 1000BE, or about 17% closer to getting that 6300 than you would have been in the old system.

So why does it suck?

And that's at the minimum, you'd expect to get a better shard at some point, and have bad luck protection in case you actually got the minimum every time.

I'm currently sitting at level 100 with 115 useless champion shards, 6 of them being Kayle alone... I could probably break them all to buy the last 10 champions I'm missing, but I really wanted to see how long it would take me to unlock them without resorting to that. I think it's been 4~6 months since I've unlocked a champion with a shard (I DID buy Kai'sa on release without).

Long story short, random shards are random. You can hope to get the shard for it, but it's probably better to just break everything to buy it alone. You'll probably get the shard after you disenchant and buy it full BE price because riot loves you very much.

I hope they consider some changes like rerolling champion shards into a random champion permanent like skin shards. The way it's set up feels kinda ridiculous and unnecessary.

Oh, and I should probably mention that this is AFTER disenchanting a repeat Ashe and Garen and after disenchanting a twitch.

6 levels, and all that and I went from 1100 BE to 2871....
