FYI: Don't buy Intel CPUs!

Apparently there's a hardware bug with Intel CPUs which requires a huge work around which is already live on Linux and will follow on Windows at some point. My i7-3770k loses 34% of it's performance thanks to it! Apparently there's still a press embargo for it, so I only have a German hardware site as a source that's only speculating what exactly is going on, but it seems like those speculations are pretty much on point. Edit: The speculations say that applications on Intel CPUs can currently prefetch any amount of system memory and then do with it whatever they want without any supervision! This basically means that any application can install anything on your system without requiring your permission!
