I watched all of this video and Uberdanger proves so much in the video (I recommend watching it). Its sadly true that riot games has become greedy and unresponsive to their community. We should be putting pressure on the company to try to address these issues because they are all real things that are happening now. 98% of the community will never be in pro play so why in the world would riot games focus those balance changes that effect pros onto the average community. The mega company that owns riot cares little for the community and its creative talent that was once very prevalent when I started to play. Now we just see boring commentary and if you try to do a different build you are suspended for intentionally feeding. Now we have prestige skins and a lack of fun items. I hope this game gets better.

Yeah no. This video is just nonsense. If you actually believe anything in this you're just trying to look for something to hate.

Also balancing around the 99% is the dumbest and I mean dumbest way to balance a game. Since NEWFLASH they're not good. You should balance around people that are good and force those people to learn.

They primarily focus changes on pro about 2 patches a year, in time for worlds/msi.

The rest of the time, they follow the BALANCE FRAMEWORK which covers all areas of play including average players, high-tier players, top-tier players, and pro.

So, can you define "the community"? Because, in case you missed the part in the stream where they gave thanks form their various teams, "the community" isn't a singular entity; it's HUGE. I would honestly be surprised if the majority of the worldwide League of Legends community believes a certain idea.

I still think Dunkey is great content creator but also yeah a lot of the stuff in the video respectfully is what everyone has been complaining about for quite some time. Uberdanger while he may be a content creator isn't big enough to spread his messages to the many; only about a small amount of the community but there are people who already know about this and try their best to spread it in their own way. I have loved this game when it first came out me being the fucking scrub lord and learning how to play now that I am more experienced my opinion changed drastically and all I want is the employees at riot to just take a chance to listen to their community so that way we can all have fun again.

Aside from that Fuck Garen buffs btw

At the end of the day riot is a company that has share holders. They need to make money. It's the biggest in esports and is what pushed esports to what we see today. So yes they care about money however they also care about the community. I been here since season 1 I can contest to this.

Riot games has listened to the community for years even made skins that fans made (Yes I'm looking at you asrtonautilus and dragon master swain). As far as balance goes they have balanced the game for normal and pro play. Trying to keep them balanced is tough due to what's good is low level play may not be good in high level play and whats good in high level play may not be good in low level play. The same goes for regions each region has their quote cancer bans that arnt seen in other regions. As a company they cant balance a game as huge as league is with 120+ champions with different interactions all the time and keep champions viable. Some just have toxic kits, some dont have enough in their kits. Asking for the game to be balanced every patch is impossible, also asking a company to care more about their player base then their bottom dollar is impossible as well, as mention in another comment the community is HUGE the game is world wide and there is no way riot can focus on the entire community as the entire community is not unison in their needs and wants.
