Genuinely curious as to how people still find enjoyment in this game. This is probably the worst I've seen league at since I started playing. The people are just getting more and more toxic and having the better jungler literally wins games.
I still love the game, but it seems like everytime I read such a post I'm the only one who just doesn't experience those kind of stuff. I lost a game yesterday which was extremely fun and nice to play. When you know you loose, change your playstyle etc. so you'll still enjoy the game. I don't get that many toxic players, but if they're toxic, just be nice to them and ignore their insults. I still, really, really like this game :)
I still enjoy it because I've always played it casually and in moderation. Most of the more vocal ITS SHIT WORSE THING EVER LITERALLY CANCER AAAAAA types played several hours a day competitively for years and can't put two and two together when they get burn out and take every small patch too seriously.
It's not as magical as it was when I began in 2013, but then of course it isn't: I was 15 and entering something brand new with a bunch of friends. I'm 21 now and a lot has happened: I'm a graduate, I've got a full time job, I played nothing but Souls for two years at one point (That was awesome by the way). The game itself does have issues, but then there's always been some problem that "kills" League, it's part and parcel of being an online game. I remember when trinkets or Feral Flare or Runeglaive or plants or anything else "killed" League and made it LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE.
it's called buyer's remorse. that's literally the only reason why most of us keep playing. we invested too much into this game and we have to keep playing it now
We don't, we simply cling onto it with the slim of hope of seeing what we once loved returning at a later point, no matter how unlikely it is because that's the only chance we've got.
I just want to get my K/DA missions done and then I'm off to play Darksiders.
Hopefully League redeems itself in Season 9, but as it is now, it's not worth it.
People take it too seriously and that’s why they don’t find it fun.i love the game and have fun with my friends. Sometimes we win game after game and other times we lose so much it’s not even funny. But we don’t play to be pros we play to have bonding time.
