Is "Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse" indicative of what's to come?

I can't help but notice the creative similarities between this and the animated works we've seen come out of League of Legends (specifically "PROJECT: OVERDRIVE" and "Seconds").

It's also no surprise that people have been demanding a movie out of Riot for a while now.

I have no idea how Riot plans on tackling a movie, be it live-action or animation, but should this animated Spider-Man movie (being released in theaters, mind you) be successful, could it cause Riot to seriously consider an animated movie as a possible avenue for their video game IP's?

This also raises the question, do the fans even want a League of Legends movie animated OR would they prefer the Warcraft route and go live-action with hyper-realistic CGI?

Personally, I loved this trailer and I could definitely see a movie based on League of Legends done in the same way.

Thoughts?

I haven't seen anyone put in the effort to make live action with yet, look at fucking Warcraft and all the trash that came before it. I would rather see a series of animated shorts kind of like what Overwatch does. Or maybe a miniseries of 5 or 6 episodes.

that depends on whether or not the miles morales spiderman movie is a success

but given that its a 100% sony animated movie, that it a very low chance

and plus the general public does not know much about Miles Morales so they are probably going to look at this as a attack from the SJW boogeyman or something and reject the movie all together.
