Not really about LoL [ Yu-Gi-Oh ]

I know it has nothing to do with LoL but I just wonder what people who play the same game as me think about the old good Yu-Gi-Oh.

I just found out about an online game called Dueling Nexus and decided to play a few times to remember the old good memories of the game everyone was enjoying in his childhood. Im completely disappointed, I wish I did not enter this game... XYZ summoning. Synchro, Pendulum, Link and other bullshitts... Im playing with old deck, I can’t even get to play because I surrender while it is his turn, because I can’t wait him 1 hour doing some shitty things for hours summoning 5 monsters with attacks more than 2500 while I have my mini Beta the Magnet Warrior :D

Was never really a Yu-Gi-Oh player, I did however do work play Magic: The Gathering.

That's the nature of power creep. While yeah it may seem like a daunting task, the new mechanics aren't too complex and in an old school style deck you could benefit from the new monster types, especially XYZs cards. Fuck Links doe, they messed up my ability to play Satellerknights and make my opponents scoop at turn zero

I bought Legacy of the Duelist on Steam for nostalgic purposes. XYZ summoning is the only new one I understand. I don't get synchro or pendulum summons, and link summons weren't even around then but they look complicated as hell too.

Yeah, I draw the line at pendulum.

There was a lot of bullshit in those cards and it makes me thankful there are people willing to play without Link/Pendulum rules.
