Random Ping Spikes, Any Fix?

My internet is completely fine, however in League, I get random spikes where my ping shoots up to about 200 ms and my game freezes for about a second or two, and it really fucks me sometimes. I'm nearly 99% certain that this is happening because I'm using a wireless adapter to use wireless internet, however, this still shouldn't really be happening. It is not possible for me to plug in my internet directly, because of where my room is. I don't have this problem on any other game whatsoever.
