I'm gold 4 and getting place with Iron teammates vs all gold enemy team lose badly in like 10 mins. Been happening a lot lately. What's weird is that I've only seen Iron no bronze, no silver only Iron. No offense to Irons. Anyone have this problem?
They are probably old previously ranked accounts completing promos.
They have gold MMR because they are gold-tier players (at least as far as their MMR is concerned).
Annie Bot (challenger player) got placed iron on a smurf account and is streaming right now -- he's playing in plat games with a plat MMR with the current rank of bronze IV (he just promoted from iron).
Yeah. It's called "We're in fucking pre-season and Riot just redid the entire ranked system".
