Alynski's Rules: In 1970, Saul Alynski provocative hippy,
former archaeology student, former Al Capone gangster, founder of the largest American union, published a manual setting out ten tactical rules for surviving in society.
- Power is not what you have, but what those around you believe you have.
- Get out of your opponent's experience field, invent new wrestling fields for which he does not yet have the code of conduct.
- Fight the enemy with his own weapons. Use elements from his own reference book to attack him.
- Humour is the most effective weapon in a verbal confrontation. If you can make a fool of yourself or, better still, force the opponent to make a fool of himself, it becomes very difficult for him to get back to the crenel.
- Tactics should never become routine. Especially when she walks. Repeat it to know its strength and limitations and then change it. Even if it means adopting exactly the opposite tactic.
- Keep the opponent in defense. He should never be able to say, "Well, I have a break, let's reorganize." All current external elements must be used to maintain this pressure.
- Never bluff if you can't take action. Otherwise we lose all credibility.
- Apparent disabilities can become the best assets. We must claim each specified as a strength and not as a weakness.
- If victory is obtained, you must be able to assume it and occupy the field. A newly elected leader must stock a new program to replace the old one. Otherwise there's no point in taking power.
- Focus the target and do not change it during the battle. This target must be as small, as accurate and as representative as possible.
