Key Fragments and blue essence

So with this new system of getting key fragments that has been introduced together with the honouring system is supposed to get you more keyfragments if you are a sportslike player. But I am honour level 5 and I get less keyfragments than before, so I'm interested in the frequency of the lower honour level people's key fragment income.

For the other part I feel like Riot doesn't play their own game. When the preaseason of season 8 came in I was level 30 and I owned all champions that cost 450 BE and 1350 BE. At level 31 I got 2 Champions worth 450 BE so in about 6 games I earned 180 BE. Before the preseason you got about 70 IP if you lost and above 100 IP if you won, plus the first win of the day bonus which gave you 150 IP. So 180 IP vs at least 6*70+150=570 IP. Also now the level upgrade for champions now costs way too much to put them on level 6 and 7 so most of people (except yasuo mains and vayne mains, btw rito pls nerf) are probably going to keep their champions at lv 5.

I like playing League but it really feels like Riot is just destroying their own game. So gj Rito*[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]*

Do you have any statistics on the Key Fragment drop rates? Because I do.

I recorded 5 cycles before Honor 2.0.

2/6 - 3/7 <> 57 games, 10 Key Fragments 3/8 - 4/6 <> 26 games, 6 Key Fragments 4/12 - 5/11 <> 77 games, 11 Key Fragments 5/12 - 6/11 <> 98 games, 10 Key Fragments 6/11 - 6/28 <> 110 games, 11 Key Fragments

Then Honor 2.0 rolled around. 6/28 - 7/28 - 161 games (12 Key Fragments) 7/31 - 8/29 <> 77 games (3 Key Fragments + Honor Capsule (5 Key Fragments)) 9/1 - 10/1 <> 50 games (5 Key Fragments + Honor Capsule (3 Key Fragments)) This cycle is when the Honor Capsule changes went live. 10/1 - 10/31 <> 38 games (6 Key Fragments + Honor Capsule (2 Key Fragments)) 11/3 - 12/2 <> 51 games (5 Key Fragments + Honor Capsule (2 Key Fragments))

I think the Key Fragment drop rates are barely lower if you only play a moderate amount of games and I do believe that they're better if you play many games because you have better bad luck protection since you're not relying on chance in the new system, while you relied almost completely on chance in the old system and you had a bad luck protection threshold if you went a ton of wins without a Key Fragment. I think you're exaggerating that Key Fragment drop rates are lower in order to support your argument. The systems' drop rates are barely different, the methods of getting Key Fragments are just different. Honor Level 5 does not get you any more or less Key Fragments than Honor Level 2. You just occasionally get Honor Capsules that hold some of your Key Fragments along with a Champion Shard or Limited Skin+Champion.

im honor lvl 3 and it was like a month ago since i got single key fragment, not to mention ive never even seen a honor capsule
