The boards game knowledge and Riot (moved this from Gameplay board)

Riot is correct when they said the boards are useless. The mods do their best every day to try to steer it on the right track to being useful, but majority (not all) of people who post on here, attempt to push their own agendas by making false claims and accusations and when someone disagrees with the, we'll use some support that's easily countered when its countered, we flame them and move on. That's how players on the boards discuss recently. There's no facts, there's no evidences. There's assumptions and insults. Just by looking at the Hot topics every day i can see majority of them are to push agendas.

Some common "agendas" i see players trying to push:

-The state of defense in the game (focusing on defensive items rather than the amount of offense in the game). Issue caused: When everything is op due to item buffs or specific strong items champions who fit these items more will essentially be stronger and need nerfs once nerfed these champions will fall out of place because they'd be too weak to hold their own until theyve built those items.

-Assassins executing targets. I dont know how many ive seen of these but complaints that an assassin 1 shot me from 100 to 0 without landing any abilities or mages need to be stronger early to at least have a safe laning phase, are some of the more common ones. Which come out to be false and the frustration of the person showing through because they just got hammered in lane by another player who simply put played better than them. (When the mage wins lane against the assassin the first counter to this is "the assassin player was shit" but it cant be said the other way apparently).

-People using pro play to define solo queue yet complaining when Riot balances league around pro play saying its not solo queue.

-People using winrate, ban rate, and popularity as solid evidence in arguements, most notably yasuo having a high ban rate must mean yasuo is broken despite his below average winrate. Players often overlook the hate the champ gets due to their history in league and how people often do things out of tradition. Am i saying yasuo cant solo carry a game? No, but im sure some of his bans come from players who dont view him as a threat but ban him because thats what their used to or have often did. A good yasuo will stand out regardless, much like a good (insert champ name) will stand out regardless. Winrate and ban rate can show a strong champion but at least have something besides that (numbers based on their kits compared to other champions, the amount of lanes the champion can be played in and why they are played there reasonably speaking).

-Support items. Thank god this one died down a bit, ive done the math on it and made a post about it and when i asked for a single shred of evidence to go against the math of both items, NOT A SINGLE PERSON could respond with a link. Yet they argue based on they feel.

-The jungle role. How often do people say "jungle diff" after feeding in their lane. Most of the time its due to a single jungle gank according to them, but why do people complain like that especially in lower elos. Well its easy to blame someone else for our mistakes rather than blame ourselves for not doing what we were supposed to be doing. How many times did your mid laner ping his laner missing and then you're about to tell him wheres his mia or to follow his lane just to see he did ping mia. Same situation in the jungle, being the entire role of the jungler is to apply pressure on the map and impact lanes with objectives and ganks, if one player on your team refuses to respect the enemy jungler of course the enemy jungler is going to look like the better jungler. When hes 4-0 and your jungler is 0-0, now your jungler has to become a reactive jungler rather than an active one. Because if he gets counter ganked the gank will end terribly. Not to mention getting caught at crabs or objectives means the enemy jungler has a stronger smite and wins 1v1s. Now im not saying its never the jungler which loses games but any lane can lose you the game when they hard feed, but if you're being camped and its successful its probably not your jungler's fault but your aggressively playstyle which led to that happening and if you played passively it might not have happened. Those who say i got turret dove, after 4 ganks, thats probably because you fell far behind to begin with and then wanted to passively at that point its too late, now the enemy team should milk you till you dont feel safe anywhere.

Just my 2 cents of what i see on the boards daily and how it leads to a terrible atmosphere for any use actual information. There's too much bias and not enough humility. I'll be honest i usually make some passive aggressive comments towards 2 types of people on here. Those who start with insults when someone disagrees and those who throw insults once all their claims/support are countered or proven wrong. I need to work on this personally myself, but just because someone disagrees with you doesnt mean you have to throw them under the bus. Lets actually try to discuss our beliefs and remember their beliefs not proven facts.
