Melee carries are actually viable in Dota 2

Pretty crazy right? Imagine if we had that in League of Legends!

There's a reason DoTA isn't as popular/good as league is.

It's like saying McDonalds has sesame seeds in their burger buns so In-n-Out should too.

I mean, if you want your melee ADs to have massive times of invulnerability, untargetability, sap your mana as they kill you, or silence you for 16 seconds, then yeah, they would be viable here too, but I don't think people here want that.

Except we do have melee carries. Just because they don't all stack crit items doesn't mean they can't do fuck loads of damage. Fiora, Yasuo, GP, Riven, Darius, etc. You'll notice though they tend to be among the most hated champions because of how bullshit it takes to make melee carries work. And it's not like Dota doesn't have bullshit to make them work either. They opt for making the game feel less fluid with turn rates just to help the disparity between melee and ranged.

Any time a melee carry becomes strong in this game they instantly become the most hated champion at the time.

For some reason Riot thought that huge damage scaling on auto attacks being an item thing instead of a kit thing would be a good idea.
