In love this game but no friends to play with it's getting stale

I played league with some real life friends when it launched many many moons ago. We played ranked and had great times talking about strats and builds when we were at work. Fast forward 9 years and I started playing again on a new account. Having tons of fun but quickly becoming stale with nobody to play with. Everything has changed so much that I created a new account, re purchased champs and been solo queuing regs and it's just been awful. Leavers, ragers, it's always something going negative. I'm not the greatest player but I'm not brain dead either and I learn every match and try to improve. Would anyone like to play together or be interested in casual play? I'm super chill and open to criticism if I'm doing something wrong. I just want people to play with and learn again. Solo is getting stale. I'd like to try ranked again someday but need to learn new mechanics and get my new account to 30 (17 now) and mastery of new and changed champs. Anyone interested feel free to add me

You could also check out the League of Legends subreddit Discord to find d people to play with. That always helps a lot for most people. The subreddit has a lot more people than here and some resources to find players if you don't get anyone interested here.

I feel you, most of my friends are offline most of the time. The friend that introduced me to LoL now plays Apex Legend, I don't blame him, just miss playing with him since I'm much better now of a player. And probably when Borderlands 3 is released I'll be gone too since I'm getting bored playing alone...

I've always been a mostly solo player but I just don't have much fun playing anymore. Seems like everyone just wants get fed and pop-off and rages when they don't.
