So I'm sure this has been spoken of before but why not allow for ranked ARAM?
it really wouldnt be too bad because in that sense the match up will always be random, you could still incorporate bans, allow 20 seconds for rune selection. do Away with Rerolls (only Ranked ARAM Lol), but keep team trading... Im just saying it would break people from being dominate with one person and test each persons adaptability.... What You Think?!

Would definitely be nice to have another option for showing skill, especially one not tied to SR.
There'd need to be some sort of change to discourage ARAM-only accounts from exploiting champ select though. Maybe enable all champs, but lock ranked ARAM until summoner level 40 or 50 to limit alt abuse. There's also a bunch of other possible changes for fine-tuning the ranked experience (e.g. rerolls, promos/placements).
