Why spend money when perma ban is possible?

I just read post about that , a player who wrote he was playing since beta and he got permabanned now so all money he has spent is gone. I haven't thought that but I think it is kind of true, most multiplayer games do not give away permabans on toxicity, usually its on life threat or cheating. So game giving permaban on toxicity is kind of to say NO to spent any money because you never know if you get tilted by some troll feeding your lane become salty and get banned.

I just never thought of that.

Permaban is directly delivered when you cheat. Over than that, you're warned up to three times prior to the last punishment, through chat restrictions and a temporary ban. Mostly, permabanned users are simply ignoring these warnings, thinking there'll always be "a last chance", so they sound like they were expelled for first offense when really they're not.

For the average player, it's a safe system. That's probably their #1 rule, and that's actually bringing the opposite issue: a noticeable population of toxic players dodge punishment during very long periods for the sole reason they stay in the "reasonable doubt" area. That's why the community doesn't look that "clean" overall, protecting the innocent from automatic punishment means letting some borderline behaviors being ignored.

Well im playing since season 1 and i have around 2k reports on my main account. I never got banned during these years not even a chat restriction.

When you make your account , you agree with all Riot rules. Its your own account and responsability to keep it safe.

If you break the rules you getting punished for it , thats all. If you dont break the rules then everything will be fine.

I've been playing since Season 2.

I had a chat restriction once, when the system was hyper sensitive and new, and that's it.

If you're not toxic, you have nothing to worry about.

I find it funny that the people who have commented (apart from one) advocate not spending money on a game that (by rule is supposed to be for 13+) is meant for mentally capable people who have at least the basic understanding of right and wrong and have the ability to learn from a warning.

If you are getting upset, you should IN THEORY be old enough to know how to take a few deep breaths and work through the next even half hour and finish it up then take a breather.

There are many examples i can give of why this is a valuable life lesson that people should learn, but that is besides the point.

The point is, the only ones who should not pay for things on this game are the ones who know they lack self control and know they want to act like an immature 5 year old throwing a temper tantrum like this kid

His money was gone the moment he spent it, same as if you went to the movies, a sporting event, or a concert. You paid for an experience and got it. There are no physical purchases in League, you pay for an experience if you choose to purchase content.

It's pretty easy to avoid bans. Nobody is forcing you to type in chat when you're tilted and most people change their behavior after the first offense. People who get perma'd received multiple warnings before hand and chose to ignore them.

Why take driving lessons when you can loose your license?

TheLastShadow451/16/2020, 9:16:38 AM1 votes

Cause I'm not toxic that's why.

Why spend money for other RIot games when you see how they treat Nexus Blitz and TT players?

Oh, I don't know about that...If I was making money not losing money then the "keep it to yourself" logic would somewhat make sense. But to the OP's point, it takes 1 tilt and several consecutive crappy games to get temp ban. And a few tamp bans for permanent ban...

Entropy based ban system is a somewhat creative way of lowering a players stress levels, but if you have money invested into skins and all, it does the opposite.

Quite honestly, it would be appreciated if the developers could take in game stats from teammates before judging whether a ban report is valid. i.e. if, like in my particular case, the jungle is 5 levels below the average, and bottom two players are 3 levels below the average after 15 minutes, and they verbally blame YOU for losing the game, and they report YOU for calling them out on it, the initiators of the reports should be the ones getting reprimanded...

The current ban system is based on number of reports not gravity...so in ELO hell, most of the games will be like the case above...

No offence to any "gosu" or expert LOL players, but games where 60% of the team is under levelled after only 15 minutes are not winnable...And it's precisely this type of games that tilt a lot of the players in game chat.

Picture this: you work 9-10 hours at whatever job you have. You have maybe 2 hours to do whatever? That's about 3 games in ELO hell if people dont remake 1000 times. And 2 of 3 games you get 3 botters/griefers/inter's whatever you want to call them, per game? You get temp ban because you lose your cool in chat? And then we're supposed to spend money on skins cause its oh so great?

Don't spend money on a game thats matchmaking is complete ass.

Not a dime until they fix it. I don't care how good their shit looks. Matching has been shit for years, you fucks should be out of jobs, period.
