A logical question ,How Qiyana "AD" and not "AP" When she clearly control elements ?
Can someone please explain that to me, cause her ability looks and her whole theme of element control say she is more of AP than AD.

Balance takes precedence over thematics. It's the same reason Kat uses AP despite throwing daggers because that's the itemization Riot feels is best suited to her.
Her weapon absorbs the energy and she hits stuff with it. She has a magic weapon, not magic powers.
She seems to auto attack a lot so having ad would benefit more.
The blade itself is magic, but she's mostly just using it as a cutting object.
AD because Lethality items need more abusers.
Zed uses fucking shadow magic and yet no one seems to have an issue with him being AD Why is this a question?
She is both if u see her profile i mean in the client she have both ad ap balanced so i think her build would be hybrid betwee dmg and ability. Just thinking not sure
This is the same as me wondering why Ezreal is an ADC when he has amazing AP scaling and a kit that reminds me of mages, source: Never played Ezreal except for ARAM.
Because Riot knew that I've been wanting an AD assassin to play.
Idk, why does a girl that throws magically sharp feathers do AD? I imagine it has to do with how riot wants to balance her, it's possible her building certain items in AD over AP might've made her a balancing problem.
