So I just played my first game as a Top-laner in some time

And I just remembered why that is the most toxic lane to ever be in.

I played as a melee against Gnar, and got stomped really hard, and there was literally nothing I could do about it. It's IMPOSSIBLE to play as a melee when you're facing a ranged. They can just nonstop poke you without even having to get close to you. You can't even farm under the turret because of their ranged poke. Especially because of Gnar. He can just throw his boomerang over and over again because it has no cost.

This was the last time I went top. It's extremely unfun and toxic.

I got ADC and my top lane was like "please let me play ADC" so being a nice guy I say ok. Had to play against Yasuo but I picked Maokai so it wasn't so bad. My jungler came and we got counter ganked both died.

After that my bot lane opened up an all you can eat buffet dying a total of 28 times in a 31min game. The guy I let play ADC went 4/13/4. I scrambled around the map trying to help my suicidal team who constantly tried to fight but in the end couldn't do enough because I didn't have enough damage.
