anyone played Far Cry 5
I watched summit play it and it didn't look any different than farcry 3 or 4

My friend got it and he hates it. He says he gets railroaded into some scripted event (usually getting captured) like every 10 minutes. And simple things like opening a door is some long uninterruptible animation where you are completely exposed and vulnerable. It sounds like it's like a series of scripted scenes and prefab'd animations strung together by bare threads of actual interactivity.
Basically it's Call of Duty.
Literally all FPS game look the same.
The only way to make FPS unique is by giving the character some sort of power like they did in Crysis (power suit, possibility to interact with the environment) and Bioshock (the powers [forgot what they were called u_u], elemental powers, telekenesis and other random shit).
Same formula from before, if you liked it get the game.
If you didn't, stay away.
It's similar to 3, yes, but it's still fun.
