With Riot Accounts taking over, it's a joke we still can't use the same one for EUW and EUNE (etc.)

Okay if I'm being honest, the whole concept of having two different accounts in the first place and having to buy skins/champions again is just moronic. But I get it, they want the money. But why do I need two different Riot accounts for this? Can't I just use the same one and it could be linked to two different summoner names (or even same summoner name but unique summoner regardless) on two different regions?
