I'm in bronze but in my latest games, i'm up against higher elo players, how am I supposed to climb if I'm matched up against unbalanced people. Like bronze people should fight bronze people. Not every other elo, your system is unfair please fix this Rito. Like i love your game but it's so unfair at times. Like every game the enemy team would be filled with silvers, and i'd have bronze. In my latest game they had a gold and silver, and we had bronze.
I hate to break it to you but bronze - plat 5 is pretty much the same skill level.
I'd even go so far to say that silver and especially gold are worse than bronze.
I'm sitting around Silver 2/3 and from my experience, it's worse than Bronze majority of the time. Usually it's either a fair fight (back and forth until a game changer happens), or both teams make enough mistakes that neither can close the game properly.
MMR moves up and down much faster than ranking. If you are getting matched up against higher ranked players, it is because either you have been playing well lately or they have been playing poorly.
You will never maintain a win rate of more than 50% over an extended period. Just think of it as a test. If you can keep a 50% win rate at a higher MMR, you will climb.
A matchmaking system based off skill has to push all players to 50% or it is not doing what it is designed to do.
You cannot maintain a 60% win rate if all 10 players are roughly the same skill level.
