Akali was a not-needed insert in True Damage, So was Soyeon. (Unpopular Opinion.)

I've been reading the comments for a bit now and I'm just bothered with the fact that Everyone is fangirling over Soyeon's verse and saying that she "Stole the show'. Hate to rain on you're parade but there was other people in that performance who killed it even harder. What about Duckwrth for Ekko's second verse? Or Becky G on Qiyana. They sounded amazing, and Thutmose's opening for Ekko was really good too. But everyone is so caught up on Soyeon. In my opinion, I don't really think she stood out compared to Duckwrth, but I respect the people who like her.

About Akali as well, She was so popular in K/DA and I know she could fit this rap theme but 1. She didn't need another skin when she have already gotten 3 this year. Prestige K/DA, Project and now True Damage. She's just riot's new cash bag. Imagine if someone else got a true damage skin, and they can experiment with what they want their voice to be rather then doing the same thing again. Imagine someone like Katarina or Diana, imagine all the concepts and artists. Anyways I loved Giants, but there was alot of missed opportunity or replacement for Akali. Just my opinion :/.

she was just in there to sell skins, she should stay in K/DA when they get another song and thats it, and if Yasuo is gonna be in the band he should actually contribute

Soyeon is very talented and she was amazing in KDA, her verses in G-IDLE are usually pretty good. But man is she out of place in Giants.

Senna (Keke Palmer) was my favorite but I think they were all great. I liked the live performance better than the music video. Everyone is going to fangirl/fanboy over certain people in a band. That is just how it is. I wouldn't let it get to you.

I'd love to hear a song by just Qiyana and Ekko (Yasuo's optional since he's supposedly the producer). Senna didn't really do it for me and as you said, Akali's just Riot's new cash bag.

I feel like in terms of the live performance and stage prescence Soyeon was way, WAY ahead of the others but also that she just kind of... didn't fit.

In terms of pure vocal ability they were all very talented and put on great performances but Soyeon (and by extension Akali).

It was kind of like a gold tooth. Yeah, like, it's high quality and all but it sticks out like a sore thumb and not usually in a good way.

Thutmose and Duckwrth's rap was good, singers too.

I do agree though Akali wasn't needed in this skin line she is already in k/da, I also agree Soyeon didn't steal the show.

Yasuo literally has no lines lmao

I didn't like the chorus, I would come back to it for Thutmose and Duckwrth's raps.

Overall song is 6/10

I liked all of it and thought it meshed. Far exceeded my expectations and that's as someone who doesn't even really listen to rap. This just hits different, its so good and on point for the character.

Quality stuff.
