Eternals are terrible and we should keep bringing it up.

Okay eternals.

 So you designed an achievement system for over **140** champions each unique and interesting. Great credit where credit is due. Super cool and interesting. You said that you wanted to _”Offer ways to earn Eternals without spending RP”_ and that is a fantastic idea,

[slayer-pantheon-thumbs] However randomly tossing us champion specific eternal sets for champions we might not even play or like sounds awful. What reason besides money and maybe even the “we have nothing to spend our BE” on issue could we not just have at LEAST the starter set unlock per champion based on mastery? or something in the entire stats page that we already have? [zombie-brand-facepalm] Now it’s your prerogative as a company to do whatever you feel like and you guys aren’t stupid because if you didn’t think people would buy this stuff you wouldn’t have put work into it. That’s fine trying to make money is fine but you really sucks seeing you try to innovate and trailblaze backwards. What game worth it’s salt in this day and age make being able to track or display your achievements monetized? Don’t act as though you’ve created this new original idea and try to redesign all this cool art and modernize your site and menus and client and then just trip and fall right on your face with something as basic and ingrained in the culture of gaming as achievements.

It’s just upsetting. It’s sad because I can’t imagine the hard choices and discussions that must go on in your offices because you guys can’t have been ignorant to these thoughts that people would have about it. Of course people would be upset it’s disheartening. At the end of the day I guess it just seems that the bottom line is the most important thing and it sucks that we now get to be reminded of that fact every time Ashe hits us from bot lane with a long distance R. It’s no longer “Awh nice that was ridiculous! I can’t hate on that” to just a sigh of sadness as they flash their shiny mastery and everyone sees that they supported this decision by the devs.

And don’t get me wrong the first thing people are gonna do are yell at them and call them whales and sellouts and whatever (have fun with all the reports that will probs come in) but I don’t think that’s what we should do. If anything we should shake our heads and be disappointed in Riot for green lighting this system as it is.

[sg-ahri-3] Tldr: eternals are a step in the wrong direction and it’s disappointing to see this stuff happen. Keep talking about it and keep up the conversation and be excellent to one another

its a scam that should just come with the game, its a quote that is a staple of most games in the modern industry and riot fails to live up to the status quo

Don't forget that the "free" method for champion specific eternals is entirely random with absolutely no "RNG assistance" provided. You have absolutely zero means to eventually guarantee you'll get it for the champion you want.

I was against eternals before and I'm against this crap now. Won't be buying or using BE for it, Riot you should have learned already!

Welcome to the new riot. I very certain the business team behind the whole marketing is from EA and Activision. It is very sad to see things go the way they are. How the giants have fallen so far, how everything is about what can we put in that is makes us more money. Skins on only popular champions, or champions that are so over tune that players only play them. Hextechs AKA Loot Boxes, or glorifying gambling with out regulations, Yet, prays on young children and addicts. The 'Pregiste' skins are legit just gold painted over the skins, many of them i cannot even tell the different in game, minus the fact the Particals are near impossible to see. Did i forget to say Each one runs for almost 100 dollars a pop. Now we have 'Eternals' A pay to see some stats that CAN NOT BE DISABLE va Settings. It more junk on the screen that i have to see that i do not care for. Oh how can i for get the Exciting 'Event Pass' that provide for a crisp 20 bucks a pass, some missions and points, that allow you to unlock special skins or emotes, that by the way that you need to spend 5 hours a day to get to 2200 points for 100 points and an icon, or 2000 for the event skin. A Full time job is require to get 4200 points.

So what next a monthly subscription fee of 15 dollars as you can not afford server maintenance fees anymore. Free model: Base game with everything release so far. Some features are disable. Subscription Model: Gets Base game, and a slight improvement in client with all features unlocked. Still have to pay full price on all skins and everything else.
